G. Lloyd Helm’s book was a pleasure to read. It is the story of a man who creates a world in which the reader becomes engaged in his characters’ life and death struggles. It is a story reminiscent of the Creation, yet has its own intriguing spins and whirls where the main character, a reluctant savior, inhabits two distinct worlds. This book is infused with fantastical beasts and imagery and descriptions. Helm, too, is a creator, and he creates characters in which he skillfully breathes life into their nostrils, making them come alive and stride across the pages. Helm’s WORLD WITHOUT END is a memorable read that leaves an enthusiastic nod of approval in readers’ minds.
