Reviewer: Stacey Krug for Siren Reviews http://sirenbookreviews.blogspot.com Tagline: In the land of the Kell, can one woman save an entire race from extinction? And find love in the arms of the Kings Commander? Blurb/Summary: A war has left his people on the brink of extinction; Drystan Commander of the King's Warriors will turn to any means necessary to save his people. Jane, an ordinary woman of Earth, falls into the strange land of muscle bound, sword wielding men, unlike she has ever seen and what's worse they seem to want her! Could this woman be the savior of their people? Savior or not Drystan knows what he wants, and he wants Jane. As the passion starts to sizzle evil forces threaten to tear them apart, can Drystan hold onto the woman not only he needs but his people? Review: Blue Fire will have you glued to the pages. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. The story is creative and will spark your imagination. However, the editing is a bit distracting and needs to be fine tuned. The love story between Drystan and Jane is entrancing and will leave you wanting more. It’s hard not to fall in love with the courageous and smart Jane and the tough but soft-hearted Drystan. Blue Fire is filled with action in and out of the bedroom. Even though the premise for the story is sad, there is much humor between these pages. Angela Castle did all Earth women, especially not a size zero, a great service when creating her character Jane and the Kell women. Angela Castle leaves room in the storyline for future visits to this new world. I am looking forward to the next storyline that is set up at the end of the book and will be checking back on this author and her creations. This is a great read for any science fiction romance fans.

MR Review Rating: Reviewer: AlexJouJou Review: In the land of Kell all the women have been murdered. Adalardo, the Kell Kind, and Drystan, the king’s commander, feel the devastation sweep through the kingdom—the utter hopelessness that signifies the Kell are a dying breed without any females. In desperation they seek out a sorcerer to try and find a way to bring light to the ravaged men—to bring life. Jane’s a cleaning lady, although she has her own business and she certainly feels like no one’s beauty. When, on a job, she chases after an injured animal and falls into a cave and into the land of Kell she realizes she might be in trouble and not in Tasmania where she normally calls home. Alone and injured from her journey, she calls out only to have Drystan find her. Drystan cannot believe what fate has provided him, a beautiful full figured woman for whom he feels an immediate possessive emotion. Jane, whose own opinion of herself is slighter lower than dirt, does not understand what an amazing hunk of manhood could see in her—a true “plain Jane.” Quicker than lightning they are attacked and Jane’s true mettle becomes known and the admiration in Drystan’s eyes makes Jane feel like a superstar. Can Drystan overcome Jane’s inability to believe she is lovable? Can Jane learn to belong in a world far from home? What are the Kell going to do about their lack of women? After all, Jane is but one only and they need a village! Fantastic characters, a world ripe and robust, and a little humor shine in Blue Fire. Speaking for us normal size 14 ladies all I could think to say was “You GO GIRL!” Drystan is every woman’s fantasy—a hot sexy warrior. In spite of the fact that he falls into love with Jane quickly you never feel it’s not real. He is so utterly charming and patient with Jane and the tender care he provides will make you swoon. Not to mention the sex, which was great as well. Here though the sex supports the story and plays an important but not pivotal role in the development of Jane's acceptance of Drystan's protection. The dialogue is well written and there is sweetness to the story—I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it. You’ll cheer for Jane as she finds love and inner acceptance in the arms of her remarkable warrior Drystan. I am more than ready for some more Kell warriors (especially Tuathal). Bring them on!
